Meet the Board

President/Founder
Rebecca Yang, USA
Rebecca Yang is an educational advocate who aims to provide free, accessible, and high-quality opportunities for marginalized communities. Beyond organizing workshops and events, she is the youngest member in the California Public Schools: AI Workgroup, working to write the first AI state-wide model policy. She is also the LA Youth Poet Ambassador, sharing arts throughout the city, and co-president of the Model UN team at her school.

Vice President
Chloe Yang, USA
Chloe Yang is a junior in the Creative Writing conservatory at the Orange County School of the Arts. She was a YoungArts Winner with Distinction in 2025, and has received the silver key for the Scholastic Arts and Writing Awards. Beyond writing, she also enjoys teaching and has worked with multiple elementary schools and students in Irvine and Santa Ana.

Secretary
Rena Oh, USA
Rena Oh is a sophomore at the Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA). Ever since middle school, she has always enjoyed writing short stories and playscripts. During her free time, she also enjoys reading mystery, thriller, and romance books, as well as newspapers and journal articles. At school, she is involved in the Model United Nations team, and has participated in National History Day.

Pradipthi Bammidi, USA
Hi! My name is Pradipthi and I am excited to serve as the Chapter Director of Read to Respond. I'm a student passionate about education access and advocating for underserved communities. In this role, I look forward to working alongside a dedicated team to expand literacy access and support community-driven impact. I hope to contribute meaningfully to this initiative that uplifts diverse voices and creates a lasting positive change!

Outreach Director
International: Bhadhra Vivek, United Arab Emirates
Bhadhra is passionate about fostering global connections and promoting literacy and critical thinking. As International Outreach Director at Read to Respond, she is excited to build partnerships with organizations worldwide, supporting the mission to inspire thoughtful discussion and engagement. She values collaboration, learning from diverse perspectives, and contributing positively to communities.

Communications Director
Amelia Kuo, USA
Amelia Kuo is a sophomore at Jasper High School, located in Dallas. She serves as the Communications Director and as the President of the Jasper High School Chapter of Read to Respond. At school, she participates in varsity debate and is a varsity orchestra officer, and serves as the Jasper High School National Honor Society Parliamentarian. As Communications Director of Read to Respond, she is excited to contribute to Read to Respond's mission to advocate for positive change in communities internationally.

Treasurer
Emilia Vallejo, Chile
I am Emilia Vallejo, based in Chile — Treasurer of Read to Respond. I am passionate about helping others and strongly believe in the power of education to create positive change. I enjoy contributing to meaningful projects, working collaboratively, and supporting initiatives that make learning more accessible and impactful for everyone.

Design Manager
Abigale Lin, USA
Abigale Lin is currently a student at the Orange County School of Arts, studying in its Design and Media conservatory. Abigale grew up in South Jersey, where she trained in classical realism under an American Artists’ League member; now she lives in SoCal, where she continues developing her skills while exploring the West Coast’s distinct artistic and cultural landscape.
