African Library Project
The African Library Project is an organization dedicated to creating and sustaining children’s libraries across Africa, fostering spaces that nurture literacy and create opportunities for children. This mission aligns with Read to Respond’s commitment to empowering individuals through literature in local and international communities. Through this partnership, Read to Respond extends its mission internationally, using literature to foster learning, expand opportunities, and empower communities across Africa. Read to Respond Chapters are currently contributing to this mission by organizing book drives, collecting books, and fundraising to help establish libraries and expand access to literature for children across Africa with the African Library Project.
